Juliane Jonas, LMSW
Primary Clinician

Juliane Jonas, LMSW, is a primary clinician as well as the intake coordinator at City Behavioral Health. Jules received her BS in Allied Health Sciences from the University of Connecticut and a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Fordham University. She has experience working in addiction and mental health treatment in clinical settings and world renowned treatment institutions including but not limited to: Silver Hill Hospital, McLean Hospital and Inter-Care. Jules has held many positions in both inpatient and outpatient levels of care at the nationally recognized Silver Hill Hospital.

At Silver Hill she received training in how to integrate CBT and DBT principles into her work with clients and place extra emphasis on the importance of practical skill acquisition as a part of treatment. Jules is passionate about the intersection of behavioral therapies and addiction treatment and is currently participating in the Foundational Dialectical Behavior Therapy training from Behavioral Tech and is being trained by Lindsay Chester, LCSW in how to deliver fully adherent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has spent the majority of her career working with adolescents and young adults and subsequently the value and importance of early intervention for complex mental health disorders underscores her work. Jules believes in creating a non-judgmental space for clients to feel safe and supported while they work together to create change.
