Riley
Therapy Dog

Riley is a Lab-Boxer rescue. She was trained as a therapy dog by The Good Dog Foundation. Riley has shown to be an invaluable member of the CBH team, particularly focusing her work on helping to lower client’s baseline anxiety when talking about difficult subjects. Riley also helps individuals to feel grounded when processing trauma or managing emotional dysregulation while in session. When she isn’t working with the clients at City Behavioral Health she can be found playing fetch in Central Park.

Working with Riley can be formally added to a client’s treatment plan or integrated on a sporadic basis. CBH understands not everyone is comfortable around dogs and Riley certainly does not work with every client and is not present in the office every day.
